I don't think this is particularly special. In other countries it's possible to obtain Dexcom's current line up by purchasing it online (G6, ONE, G7) and other brands too like Abbott's Freestyle Libre.

It seems like this is a stripped down version of the G7 (albeit with a longer wear time) as the ONE is a stripped down version of the G6.

"In other countries"... right... opening it up to a market of 340 million people with rampant metabolic problems is what's special about it.

80$ a pop for 2 weeks and most people cannot access it long enough

Interesting read, I agree with adopting an identity platform but this can definitely be contentious if you want to own your data.

I wonder how much one should pay attention to future problems at the start of a startup versus "move fast and break things." Some of this stuff might just put you off finishing.

Seems like it's back up now.

It doesn't look like it has been a problem in the past especially since it's operated by Cloudflare.

I am technical but not technically capable enough in the domains I want to explore.

Only for $250K though?

You can only buy 150k worth.

(And interest can be withdrawn penalty-free at any point, so you can keep it under $250k).

Looks like they've reserved a bunch of compute from Lambda Labs?

Edit: Based off this tweet, looks very similar https://twitter.com/LambdaAPI/status/1668676838044868620

i mean if its just h100 specs then it cant help but look similar cant it

Not just the H100 specs, the interconnect and ingress/egress details.

Last week I got an email from them about they had only 6000 H100 left. Got one today about how they have 4000. Tracks

As someone with experience using services like these, and at the price point and solve speed their offering its quite clear that is a model. Legacy players using low paid humans had solve speeds >20 seconds usually and now model based solvers are now down to under a second.

As someone who has worked within this industry, I absolutely hate these terms. Throwing things on a blockchain is a mile backwards for most use cases.

But the buzzwords. Think about the buzzwords.
