Didn’t that already happen? I thought Astra had been available to “select partners” for a little while. This is baffling. They shouldn’t have hyped this up if it’s not available.
This is a misunderstanding of how large AI models will roll out until a lot more hardware exists.
This release isn't for you, you poor bastard. This is to companies and politicians. They want big companies to contact them privately for usage in their limited hardware. They also want to get the feeling for the current political vibe before the masses get ahold of it to avoid a Mythos debacle.
I used this for an internal project I can’t talk about, but it was a lifesaver. It allowed me to drop a really powerful layout system into a project that wasn’t doing traditional UI at all.
The results have been fantastic. Thank you for this awesome library. I love it.
Don’t forget reasoning effort. We get labels like “low,” “high,” and “max.” That doesn’t mean that the numbers associated with those don’t get remapped on the backend.
Huh, this is interesting. I would have never described the computer as roleplaying in a CRPG. That feels weird and inappropriately anthropomorphizing. I kinda feel the same way about describing an LLM as roleplaying.
I can see where you’re coming from. Just… linguistically, saying the computer is roleplaying feels wrong to me.
I literally had Opus 5 flag a message because my hand was slightly too far to the side while typing. It apparently decided that a sentence that had some garbled words in it was a threat to national security.
