and then as you look back at that wonderful night you "remember" with all your friends, you will reinforce a false picture and reality strays further

>50 µL of supplement diluted into 100 mL of water

pretty tiny amount of peppermint was consumed

I was surprised by this too. From a background in writing code to control precision pumps, I have a good idea of what 50 µL looks like and it seemed like an awfully small amount. But I don't know how concentrated the oil is.

FWIW, I had an Indian co-worker who took peppermint oil frequently and said that it was very good for his upset stomach.

That's enough to turn a whole barrel of water detectably minty.

demonstrably incorrect, it is very easy to find apps with "last updated" dates 2+ years ago. Paid example:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/a-dark-room/id736683061

I was not asserting there's a rule where you're cut off after 2 years. I'm saying it does happen, I'm sure it's happened in some cases within months of releasing an app that someone needed to update it because a new rule made it not-compliant.

Can you find a single app that was released at the launch of the App Store or Android Market, and was never updated, that can be run on a modern device?

Plenty of desktop software released at that time can still be run on modern systems. Smartphones aren't the same, keeping up with modernizing is a never ending task.

>Or are you saying people should be free to write whatever they want on social media with no repercussions?

no repercussions from the government, yes, people should be free to write whatever they want

If someone put my name and address on the internet and then falsely claimed I'd committed some henious crime against children (and maybe added a fake AI image) I'd certainly want the police to do something.

I don't think this is actually your view, though. I can't imagine that you think harassment or violent threats are things that should have no repercussions.

>Pyrethrin is poison

to whom and at what dose? It's a paralytic nerve agent, so scary!! But mostly to bugs...

"mammals are able to process pyrethrin quickly and have higher body temperatures which prevent pyrethrin from working effectively"

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3550062/

>I corrected it with links

it should be reasonably expected that you can give a source and fix an error in the AI output.

I would even go as far as to say if a human directly told the AI "no, use 7.6 as the latest version", the AI should absolutely follow direct instructions no matter what it thinks is true. What if this human was working on a slide about the upcoming release of 7.6 that has no public documentation?

If you can't read, why comment?

>It is unclear which Apple products Intel would make chips for, according to the report. Intel and Apple declined to comment.

It was a joke. Sad your sense of humor left you about the same time as your manners.

I do agree that Costco's can be laid out pretty differently and I get confused. My home Costco flows in a circle where you first see:

1. appliances/bedding/toothbrushes 2. alcohol 3. refrigerated foods with the bakery/meat department 4. cleaning products and flats of drinks 5. dry foods

when this cycle is broken or changed in a different Costco I am visiting, I feel VERY lost

The biggest thing I've noticed is a Costco chirality. My home Costco was right-handed (enter on the right, things are in the same order you described, exit on the left), but then I moved and now my local Costco is left-handed (pretty much the same but mirrored, except, for whatever reason, the alcohol, which precedes the perishables rather than succeeding them). Kinda funny.

are you not describing "toxic and superficial" ? I specifically take issue with pre-judgement based on clothes, cars, and logos.

I think he was saying it was an unfair extrapolation to say that OP's limited experience with a small subset of people defined an entire nation.

I'm saying that in the case of South Korea, that extrapolation is very much accurate.

superficial maybe, "toxic" is your own personal idealogy

Greatly detailed here:

In this case, Pepsi has reduced promotions and increased wholesale cost for "small groceries" which in this case was a regional grocer with ~1000 of stores across 10 states. If Pepsi is strong arming regional giants like that, imagine how the ant of a real local grocer feels. They are algorithmically getting destroyed
