You completely ignored human error aspect. Before the blood donation centers used one time use equipment, donors were getting infected with something nasty every now and then. You can sure as hell expect people to commonly forget to properly sanitize those syringes.
I used Ente, switched to immich just recently. Overall immich gives more of a quality feeling, has much more community support as well and a clear roadmap. I also think it will eventually receive nice, native apps for all platforms with the support of sizeable community. E2EE in Ente was nice but that's pretty much its only advantage.
People starving come from parts for the world affected by global warming, which unsustainable farming is one of the reasons. Which, in turn, crates mass migration issues. Which, in turn, is a major reason behind massive shift of Overton window and the current world situation we're in.
Every country that has a problem with starvation has huge population growth.
They have at least 2.5% population growth yearly which translates to doubling population in 28 years, while some have as high as 4.5% which means they double every 15-16 years.
If a population has a food problem, why does it double every 15 years?
As a Pole, I am torn. It would help fight Russian advances for sure, but it would also mean appeasing Israel. Spain's fierce stance against genocide in Palestine would be nearly impossible in a collective EU foreign policy.
I might have missed something: Why is fighting Russia equivalent to supporting Israel? Honest question, I have a hard time motivating myself to follow the news at the moment…
Fighting Russia and supporting Israel is mostly an EU stance right now, including of van der Leyen. In general, EU countries so far rather appease Israel, with notable exceptions of Spain and Ireland.
