I’m grateful to Sid for what he’s doing—his companies are helping me battle my cancer. I hope more tech entrepreneurs will tackle healthcare and medicine like he is.

As someone who just went through major surgery and agonizing pain, it’s great to see innovation in this area. Right now the hospitals just rely on old school painkillers that don’t work so well and have terrible side effects. They pumped me up with fentanyl, oxy, dilauded, valium, etc. It’s time for something new.

Awesome post. If you’re feeling too lazy to build this and are willing to throw money at the problem, check out Nanit. It’s an amazing baby cam that can detect sleeping and breathing. It works like a charm. Our family loves it.
