Yeah it's an Event Notification that triggers lambda that acts on the bucket, i had to give it permissions to the bucket so i guess it's outside it :). We'll see!
Yeah I agree. We're currently using it to dump images as originals into a bucket at a path.. then the aws lambda function attached generates all the thumbnails.
And last month Google Maps tried to convince me about 12 times to get off the highway and take back roads on a 900mi one-way trip because of hallucinated traffic.
While I still use Google Maps to look up businesses, I have long preferred Apple Maps for turn-by-turn navigation in the car. The timing of the queues is much better. Google often left me driving with no idea what my next move was until the last minute. Apple Maps tells you right after you make a turn what you need to do next, so you can prepare. It's much more relaxing for me to know what's going on.
Apple Maps is also great for transit, where it supports it. In Tokyo (several years ago) it would tell me how much money to put on the ticket for the trip I was taking, which would have been pretty confusing otherwise. Not sure if Google has made updates, but at the time I don't believe they had this.
These spikes are in a nook above the office at work. They help hold the bird nest there perfectly, and actually seem to make nesting easier. I could see them keeping away large birds, but for their intended use case, they just made it easier for nests to be put where they otherwise might not stay.
That said, I don't mind it, watching the birds is fun.
That's pretty funny. For me, they work pretty good against the pigeons. Honestly, if it were sparrows or some other type of bird making a nest in them, I don't know if I would care too much. Pigeons are pretty large and make big poops.
Every feeling you are having will pass. Make small steps toward your goal, interview, and try to let it go. Debt doesn't need to be resolved immediately, creditors will work with you if you make an effort to pay.
As for "burden while looking for a job", that is something you are carrying with you and perhaps into your interviews. You need to put your true, best face forward, and you will settle this with time.
In the meantime, to cover debt, any income helps. You might find waiting tables or something on weekends easily adds $2-3k a month to your income.
A lot of people work a part time job, or work 2 remote jobs at the same time. Not necessarily recommending this approach, but i've worked with people that were doing it, including one right now.
Yeah, I keep coming back to Concrete5 (now Concrete CMS). We don't often do CMS-based projects but when we do I test out all the big names and Concrete wins out every time. It had a block-based page editor years before Wordpress introduced Gutenberg and theming has always been pretty straightforward.
If they drive leads, they can capture a percentage of leads they generate for in house agents. This is why Zillow went commission split on transactions, it’s much more lucrative once you have a lead pipeline.
