No offense, but in the case of uber it is alot more to it.

just one example:

In many european countries a driver needs a special insurance for human transportation. In case of an accident this insurance goes into effect, not having this is really bad for all people involved.

In case of ttip:

In europe we got high standards and good laws to protect people(consumers, workers, ...). Dont blame me for this, but this is not the case for the usa.

Not a concrete Project for you (the list is long with good projects), but maybe you find some usefull stuff in the oreilly data archive

http://www.oreilly.com/data/free/archive.html?imm_mid=0e7547...

Maybe one of these projects is a good fit for you.

taigia is actually _impossible_ to set up. I haven't been able to do it on a fresh 14.04 Ubuntu instance from DO after trying at least once per month.

Edit: Let me rephrase. I've tried at least once a month to install taigia following their instructions and also by trying to use some 3rd party docker files. I've been met with failure every time.

My 2 Cents:

Start out with a solid base: (for example)

or you try to help with existing projects: (for example)

- https://github.com/breach/thrust (started out with https://github.com/breach/breach_core a "javascript"-Browser (core is not js))

https://github.com/minbrowser/min

Breach seems like a poor choice since the project has been inactive for ~2 years.

Maybe you're right, a project like servo (https://github.com/servo/servo) looks like a better fit.

easy bugs to hunt: https://github.com/servo/servo/labels/E-easy

There are plenty of options (all biased by personal opinion) for this task. Maybe one of these projects is a good fit for you (creating consistent uis should be easy with all of these).

Their Branding / Marketing sounds weird but these guys are just providing consulting / hosting / training etc. for gov's and orgs

The guys behind jpberlin are = https://www.heinlein-support.de/

you can see some of their clientwork here:

https://www.heinlein-support.de/consulting/referenzen

https://www.heinlein-support.de/referenzen

hope this helps

Maybe not easier to use in general, but you don't have to replicate all the daily stuff you maybe need for your project. With Flask you have to recreate many things (for example acc management) or rely on a thrid party-dev. In django you get core stuff from the core team(also with the freedom of recreating it yourself or use some app from a thridparty-dev).

Maybe you look at the false examples :)

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/about/corporate-strategy-office... = Cisco Web & Email Security

The Source for the Server is now open source: https://github.com/ironport/shrapnel (python / cython /Pyrex)

And disqus had run mainly on Python before they moved some parts to Go-Lang

https://github.com/disqus

Many Gov's / Edu's run on Plone

Plone, while written in Python, should be considered as a packaged app. These small units of govt and edu mostly just install it with a few modifications/installed plugins.

No offense to disqus but they are relatively small.

So I believe my statement still holds true.

This is not about pirating the technology, it is about the law in Argentina.

---

"If you don't like Monsanto's work, don't pirate it. "

Their (plant)-technology infiltrates the environment around, so at the end of the day, all farmers are using some kind of monsatos tech (unwanted).

Should they pay, because monsatos IP is spreading like a wildfire?

no offense & best regards

If Argentina has such laws, they are breaking treaties that the country has signed.

The claims about farmers inadvertently using Monsanto seeds are rubbish. If some seeds would spread like wildfire, that would be a different thing. But they don't. The farmers using Monsanto (and any other licensed) seeds are doing it on purpose.

The most commonly cited claim here is Monsanto vs. Schmeiser, and you should read it:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsanto_Canada_Inc_v_Schmeise...

Hey, hey,

a good place to host documentation for a project is "read the docs".
