This is pretty common in the homebrew world where people have kegs in fridges/freezers.

They kind of did explain it. If they cashed it in then there would be coverage about who won it and the fact that they were American and were placing bets with a system would have surfaced. So basically they could make more money by continuing to slowly siphon money off then they could with a big win like that.

My Samsung S7 did this I think. Haven't seen it on another phone though.

Windows 7 goes EOL maybe?

I had something similar happen with a Macbook. It ended up being the battery expanding and pushing up against the case/trackpad.

Not the person who commented earlier but it feels a bit odd to mix the settlement payments and the actual spending transactions in the same list. Not sure if a different view would be useful or whether it is just something I would get used to over time.

Just because something is nonprofit doesn't mean it's services are free.

Among other tings it means that all profits go towards furthering the organization instead of to a group of investors or shareholders.

Source: I worked at a non-profit.

You can use Intel PlaidML right now on OSX to utilize your metal supported GPU for machine learning. I have tried the python library with Keras and my GPU (Geforce 760) with no issues.

A 40 inch TV is on the small end for 4K having any real benefit (at least at a normal living room viewing distance).

I'm still struggling a bit with large screens. For something like playing games I'm guessing you can comfortably sit back. High resolution screens for computers feel attractive, but getting up close and personal can feel a bit much with light levels. I'm guessing OLED might be nicer in that regard.

I clicked around a bit but I really disliked the experience.

At one point I thought I was clicking on a button to do something and it turns out that it was an ad and I was redirected to another site.

Resorting to dark patterns like this for ad clicks is scummy IMO.
