I'm Swedish. Some of this is true, but there are also many half truths and over-simplifications in this post.
The Swedish system does have aspects of corporatism in it. You may criticize those aspects, but they don't constitute corruption just because you don't like them. There's nothing secret or shady about them -- it's how the system is supposed to work.
Not sure I'm buying the idea that gender has much to do with this. I'm sure Google could instead find an additional 10 female programmers for $100k each - thus changing the averages without having to overpay this one employee.
Looking at organizations in general, the pay structure is definitely not a Normal distribution (which people might intuitively believe it should be). If the average there is $100k, the bunch of people earning more than $500k are in a different class altogether.

Eh? This is really sad - do Google really have to choose candidates that aren't the best in order to keep a particular balance of sexes. Is that company wide, department wide, etc..
I'd have thought a progressive company, like Google appear to be, would employ the best person for the job and do away with irrelevant discrimination.
But we can't have those nuances in our multicultural brave new world! It's the person being offended who decides what's offensive (so long as they belong to a protected group). Four legs good! Two legs bad!
Why would you want to go to university with a bunch of completely uncreative people who only sit around and study? Studying (for actual classes) is only part of what university is about. Most Asians are so bland that they could easily be replaced by some sort of advanced work/study-robots and we wouldn't know the difference.
Of course, since universities have been turned into factories, robots are perfectly adapted to that environment.
This is one of the most incredibly racist things I've ever read. I beg you to reconsider - look at the incredibly rich cultural traditions of China (India could also fit into this mold), and then talk to me about creativity.
This is obviously a subjective matter, but I would say that the sum of the culture of the West is far richer than that of any other culture, even though ancient China and India are impressive in many ways.
But it really doesn't matter what China was like 2000 years ago. What matters is what Asians are like _today_.
It is my observation that Asians, on average, are more uncreative/conformist/careerist/bland than Westerners. But hey, that's OK -- I just wouldn't want to got to a university with too many Asians.
