One super-useful key combo which is often overlooked is C-x-e, which edits the current command in $EDITOR. Very useful when dealing with history and long commands that need parameter editing.

I wonder if atuin could parse tags if given at the end of a command, after a # ?

sudo somecommand arg1 arg2 # admin mpv arg1 # media

I have work-related stuff that I'd love to be able to tag and then filter history based on that. Hmm now that I think of it, maybe it will just work like that anyway.

Love atuin btw, best of luck!

It's not so simple These "deadbeat users" are the ones generating the content.

And some of the deadbeats are us moderators who invest our time voluntarily to keep the subs tidy, handle the mod queues and answer questions etc. I dive into queue management using the Boost app on my phone durimg breaks away from my corporate laptop, which I won't use for such personal stuff. The official Reddit app is not as good as Boost for moderation.

Do they? Most content is reposts, news, or content from other sites.

I would suspect Reddit has done the maths. And saw that most content generators use their app or the website to post.

I'm going to say [citation needed] on the assumption Reddit is capable of doing math. They have almost never made a good decision.

Haven’t made good decisions yet literally one of the biggest sites on the internet. Those two things are mutually exclusive.

That's not correct. It's entirely possible they got their on accident. There are engineers in this thread who would know claiming they don't have a real good sense of why things work.

And every big decision they've made has made it worse, not better. Do you use new reddit?

This completely ignores the fact that twitter is run on advertising income, and that it's only value is its users. Twitter as a brand is in the tank.

I'd given up on shared history because it never worked the way I like. This looks very promising, thank you.

PlantUML does sequence diagrams very nicely, using a pretty simple markup language. It becomes very easy to draw up sequence diagrams quite quickly after using it for a short period of time.

I am the same, but I'm not very good about telling people I would consider it if given a PR. Maybe I should publish something like you've said here as an upfront policy.

There's a lot of misunderstanding of the word karma. This "I still regret/think about" you are referring to is actually one of the true natures of karma. Your actions have an affect, often or especially on yourself. Sorry if that all sounds preachy, but it's something to reflect on. Often it's just not worth it, and it turns out sometimes that you're only hurting yourself.

I just switched from TST to sidebery. I would have preferred to stay with TST, but the ability to switch between different trees is a killer feature.

I think you're ignoring the entertainment value of hitters getting more hits. In general, more balls in play means more exciting scenarios. Baseball, a beautiful game, has an innate natural balance in its dimension and timing. Yes, I like a good pitchers duel as well. But for reasons of likely the sticky stuff, the scales are currently tilted too far towards the pitcher.
