this is awesome, I'm curious if there's a way to remove bot comments; remove foreign influence keywords etc. Get rid of the energy vampires

Going mono-tonal to that of an expressive ebook increased my "American English" score from a 52% to 92%.

I'd suggest training a little less on audio books.

What does it mean mono-tonal and what is an expressive ebook? I assume you are not American born? I had been of the understanding that rythm was more important than the exact sounds in comprehension.

He's saying to read it like Jeff Hays not Travis Baldree

Why do I get downvoted for asking an innocent question? That's weird

This is so exciting!!!

Thank you!

yet hiring is as difficult as it's even been

Fly is soooo easy to use and very very easy to go back to. We went back three times, each ended with multi-hour sev0s w/ horrible status updates. Last outage occurred during our YC interview... now we're on AWS.

This is particularly interesting. Having tasted Iberico, I just realized on similarities between it and Yunnan Ham, which I grew up on. https://munchies.vice.com/en_us/article/mgx3b4/china-has-an-...

very small correlation between situ in Zimbabwe and price of bitcoins. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets Either a pump from Korea or China.

Agreed that this seems fishy. Given that Zimbabwe no longer has a local currency, this seems to be USD->BTC on an exchange that happens to be in Zimbabwe. If you have the financial freedom to move your USD, it seems highly unlikely that you'd want to do so into BTC at a price much worse than at other exchanges.

Can anyone familiar with Zimbabwe shed some light on what's happening?

Not just fishy -- fake news all the way. There's just not enough capital out of Zimbabwe to dictate a global market cap surge of 10-20 Billion (in the past 3 days)

not too sure about how incorrect the artist's concept is, but we have to remember that Promixa Centauri is a red dward with about 1/10 the radius of our Sun.

Ah maybe when the article said the star is "bigger" than the Sun it meant "more massive." Which could explain the apparent contradiction, if it was more massive and smaller in radius. Of course then it would be denser than the sun, which would have to be the case for all of this to make sense.

Here's a quick 24 hours prototype for idea 2: http://timesavorapp.com/

Also to the list you might add: p2p live tv (cable tv replacement) - tv networks generate revenue based on ads (subscription fees) p2p goes to solve a lot problems. Comcast is screwing the whole foodchain - now is the time to act.

Here's my advance. Patience is key. Pick a suitable starting language. Webapps - JS/Python. more CS-oriented - Java/C++ I prefer Python personally, but JS looks pretty ubiquitous nowadays.

Know your basics (syntax/MVC/OOP..etc) Once you're done with the cookie cutter stuff, hack hack hack. This includes the learning, Coursera, Udacity, and Codeacademy all provide some top level content - you don't have to finish it. Just learn the necessary concepts and run with it.

In my opinion, it is better and easier to learn programming by building something you're passionate about, rather than something that someone else is passionate about.

Thank you for the advice!
