My son is about to turn 1 in a week, and I'm interested in learning more about the cognitive development side of what's ahead for him. I like to think he's a smart little dude, but I really have little context (especially because he can't socialize right now).

What are your favorite books on this? Ideally I'd start with some sort of Pop Science book (like a Gladwell-esque intro) and then get deeper into the science/research after, but I'm game for anything.
