I'm happy to see this being criticized, though the fact that its intentional should be obvious to anyone who has used Amazon. This is the main reason I have all but stopped using Amazon, why would I order from a vendor that is literally trying to trick me (steal from me) in every interaction?

I have stopped using Amazon for anything that may come into prolonged contact with my body/skin. I can’t trust that the items aren’t counterfeit and are safe to use

I have been happy to stop giving money to Amazon. I have found now change to my quality of life without them. Everything they offer is available from someone else

I'm doing the same thing. Support your local stores.

I felt a sense of relief after ripping my Kindle books (deDRM) and closing my Amazon account a few months ago.

It was nostalgic looking at 18 years of purchase history.

Between tax avoidance and anticompetitive behaviour ( https://www.vox.com/recode/22836368/amazon-antitrust-ftc-mar... ), I no longer support Amazon.
