Google, Mozilla, etc isn't the 'EU' that is making the significant changes at the W3C and they are the ones that spread the lies of the open-web in the first place which also explains how Google completely overtook Mozilla who just watched them and did absolutely nothing to stop them; hence why they are today crying that no-one is using their browser, despite being in the pockets of Google.
The opening up of browser choices on mobile is a red herring, as I already explained. It will allow Chrome to just get even stronger as we have already seen on Android. So it is in fact naive to think that anything on this will change.
