The surprising roots of Japan's Indian curry (one-from-nippon.ghost.io)

One observation I made while in Japan was that every Indian restaurant had almost the same menu. Like there was a template to success and everyone was following that.

A few tandoori naans, tandoori kababs, standard chicken and seafood curries, and a handful of vegetarian options, topped with the ever present mango lassi.

Can't complain though. A lunch set with all these was around 700 yen - about 5 dollars at today's rate!
