They don't need the password to be hardcoded to get access, but a lazy CIO/CEO is much easier to find

If they wanted to add a backdoor for feds there are better ways to do it. This is just stupid, lazy engineering. Not everything has to be some grand conspiracy.

The problem that i see is that this " stupid, lazy engineering" occurs very often at Cisco.

I would have expected that they have learned from past mistakes, but at the company i work for, we also don't learn.
