So that JSON file is pretty big - the video shows 4KB and that's just for the demo chat.

This is a lot for a pointer. Are you sure that your chats are not in that JSON file? You keep saying that JSON is a pointer to server - but how do you know that?

Because claude code stores state in JSONL file locally. It would make sense that Google AI does the similar thing.
